Why Social Skills Groups?

Each Coaching 4 Kids Social Skill Group helps children to improve their performance and enhance their quality of life. They teach commitment, respect, trust, and true communication. These groups assist each child in the building of their self-esteem, teaching them about making positive decisions and making proper choices. Children are given the opportunity to express themselves through a variety of styles.

With the resources provided, parents can continue the Coaching for Kids program at home. Guides, handouts and instruction are offered to continue the learning process. Children will begin to change their personal views of events in the world and begin to build on their interactions with others. As children recreate their frustrations or disappointments within the group, they will begin to build a solid base to deal with their emotional upset. This leads to higher self-esteem and social competence in activities with family, friends and peers.
